Pedja was born in 1975 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. From his early age he was smitten by
moving images that his father produced with Super 8 camera and later screened them on bedroom walls.


In 1997 Pedja’s long life passion for photography brought him to Los Angeles to pursue his career in
motion picture field.
He graduated from UCLA Film/TV studies, majoring in Cinematography Program.
Because of his
advanced skills in still photography, he began filming student’s short films under the
supervision of his mentors Deland Nuse and Jack Cooperman ASC. Not long after he started shooting
independent feature films.


He recently wrapped a horror feature film
"The Season", directed by Adam Brooks. Also he lensed 3
independent feature films, several short films, documentaries and industrials that are waiting for festival
circuits.

Still photography is in Pedja's heart so when he doesn't make a films, he often does a still photo shoots.
Fashion and commercial photography is his specialty but he often photographs editorial, PR, corporate
and aerial assignments around the world.


Pedja was awarded for “Outstanding Achievement in Photography”, by International Society of
Photographers and “Editor’s Best Choice” by International Library of Photography. He is currently
working as a commercial still photographer and cinematographer shooting independent short and feature
films, music videos and commercials.  Combining these two mediums, his long lived dream is coming
through. Pedja currently resides in Los Angeles.
